Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
  • SC/ST/PH/Female Candidates: Exempted
  • Correction Fee (First Time): ₹200
  • Correction Fee (Second Time): ₹500

Note: The examination fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Age Limit and Eligibility Criteria

  • Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • All Other Posts:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

  • Inspector of Income Tax (CBDT), Inspector in CBIC, and other ministries.
  • Assistant Enforcement Officer in Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue.
  • Sub Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
  • Inspector Posts in the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications.

Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)

  • Assistant/Assistant Section Officer in various ministries.
  • Executive Assistant in CBIC.
  • Research Assistant in NHRC.
  • Divisional Accountant in offices under C&AG.

  • Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant in the Department of Posts.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2024

  1. One-Time Registration (OTR):
    • SSC has introduced a one-time registration process on its new website, SSC.GOV.IN. Candidates who haven’t completed OTR registration must do so before applying for any recruitment.
  2. Photograph Submission:
    • SSC has implemented a new process for photograph submission. Candidates must upload their photos live, either through a webcam or the official SSC app. Ensure the photo is taken with a light/white background.
  3. Document Preparation:
    • Gather all necessary documents, including handwritten notes, eligibility proofs, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
    • Keep scanned copies of relevant documents, such as a photo, signature, ID, and thumb impression, ready.
